The Opportunity

Expressions of Interest are invited from qualified candidates for a 3-month internship at the 3D Printing Lab & IoT Lab of the AIC RRU Incubation Foundation. The objective of this internship is to provide students with hands-on, practical experience in 3D printing technologies, IoT project development, and hardware prototyping.

Key Details

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Technical Intern, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and technical support of the labs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• 3D Printing Operations: Operate and maintain 3D printers, including FDM and Resin-based systems.

• Technical Support: Assist students and startups in 3D modeling, slicing, and printing processes.

• Inventory Management: Manage raw material inventory such as PLA, ABS, and Resin.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of machines.

• IoT Development: Assist in IoT-based project development utilizing Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and various sensors.

• Cloud Integration: Support hardware integration with cloud platforms and dashboards.

• Documentation & Safety: Maintain lab usage records, technical documentation, and ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and SOPs.

• Event Support: Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, technical training sessions, and demonstrations.

• Startup Assistance: Provide dedicated technical assistance to incubated startups for their hardware prototyping needs.
